SCY SKETCH 24

... is this one:

and here's my take:

Journaling: You loved riding the Log Jam and the Rio Grande so much that you always ask that we go back to Enchanted Kingdom. Next time soon, sweetie. Promise.

Supplies: Carstocks: Die Cuts With a View, Papers: Die Cuts With a View, American Crafts, Diecuts: Scenic Route, Blings: All About Scrapbooking, Felt Embellishments: Sassafras Lass, American Crafts, Chipboard: Rusty Pickle, Buzz and Bloom, BasicGrey, Brads: Sassafras Lass, Buttons: BasicGrey, Stickers: Doodlebug Designs, All About Scrapbooking, Making Memories, Rub-on: Making Memories, Glittered Adhesive: Ranger, Ink: Clearsnap, Alcohol ink: Ranger, Pen: Uni-ball, Other: thread.

Instead of acrylic paint, I topped my alpha chipboard with alcohol ink then doodled on it using Uni-ball Signo. Notice the chipboards used as base of the Making Memories Tiny Alphas? They're actually scraps of Buzz and Bloom's Lava Lamp chipboard which I used here. ;o)

Not again? LOL. Hey, don't blame me - - they come in 5 pieces per pack!!!! This time I topped my cute little birdie with Stickles - Distressed Antique Linen.

58% SAYS NO TO FRUITCAKE

Just a quick stat before I draw the winner of my blog giveaway (that was pretty close, don't ya think? ;o)

I know I'm a day late, so without further ado, the winner of the $10GC (plus extra!!!) from Cocoa Daisy is HAYLEY!!!!

She said: "I thought your layout was so creative, and I loved the symmetry.
um..about the fruitcake, I'm sorry to say that yes, I do like it. Especially when it's been soaked in rum and has yummy marzipan on top. Not the crappy stuff from the grocery store mind you...then good homemade stuff. cheers."

Congrats Hayley. Do email me at joplin_woodstock@yahoo.com to learn how to claim your prize. ;o)

Thanks for playing along people. Do play along with us over at AAM - - Nikki Sivils is our sponsor this month!!!!

OF JILLIBEAN AND FELTIES GALORE

The prompt for Journaling Junkie's Challenge 68 is to use adjectives. The fact is I have made this layout way ahead of this AAM LO but before this ScrapTiffany LO - - and they all use my newest stash of Jillibean Soup Alphabet Soup Line.

Here's my take:

Journaling: Beautiful. Smart. Sassy. Funny. Extremely talented. Affectionate. Words are not enough to describe how wonderful you are. I am sooo lucky to have you, Nat.

Supplies: Cardstocks: Die Cuts With a View, Papers: Jillibean Soup, Scrapworks, Felt embellishments: Sassafras Lass, Buttons: BasicGrey, Chipboard: Buzz and Bloom, Stamps: Bella Boulevard, Autumn Leaves, Ink: StazOn, Clearsnap, Sticker: Creative Imaginations, Pens: Tombow, Uni-ball, Other: Quickutz foam diecuts (Moxxie), ribbon, old organizer page.

Raised the alpha stickers again to add dimension...

I am totally addicted to this cute birdie (used the same one here and the bigger one here). This time, instead of topping it with acrylic paint, I just misted it with Tattered Angels' Glimmer Mist in Pearl.

I also used these cute felties from Sassafras Lass. Aren't they yummy?
